App connections

Screen mirroring and audio reception use your local network. The app processes connection information and the media your device sends to play it on the receiver.

Shared videos and artwork may require requests to online media services. Those services receive the information needed for their requests and apply their own privacy practices. Local networking does not mean that all media playback is offline.

Settings, pairings & diagnostics

AirSofa stores settings, pairing information and diagnostic logs on the Windows PC or Xbox running the app. Settings and pairings are retained to make later connections easier. Removing the app’s local data removes its saved local settings and pairings; operating-system backups are managed separately.

Diagnostic logs are size-limited and stored locally; a new launch replaces the current log. Logs may include device, network, media and connection details. Detailed tracing can include sensitive connection information. Review exported logs before sharing them with support.

The app does not include an analytics or automatic support-log upload service. Windows, Xbox, Microsoft Store and media providers may process information under their own privacy policies.

This website

This is a static website. It does not set cookies, run analytics or tracking pixels, or load remote fonts and scripts. Gallery and menu interactions run in your browser.

The contact form prepares a message in your email app. It does not send or store form submissions on a website server. You choose whether to send the draft.

The service hosting this website may process ordinary request information, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site. External links take you to services with their own privacy practices.
